Day 1: The Day Before You Go
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, here are a few things to know before your tour: Pick-up time and guide contact: We'll confirm your exact pickup time and guide details the day before the tour via email / SMS. If you don't receive this info by 8 pm, please contact us. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as some areas involve light walking. Bring your passport, as it may be needed for attraction entry or pickup. Dress according to the weather; a light jacket is suggested in spring and autumn. The tour operates in most weather conditions; in case of extreme weather, we'll contact you in advance.

Day 2: 7:00-8:30
The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at Lijiang Old Town / Shuhe Ancient Town.

Day 3: 8:30-10:30
Tea Horse Guesthouse → Halfway Guesthouse (Approx. 4.5 km, 2 hours) Hike along the high trail on the cliff edge. The path is mostly flat with no steep slopes. Enjoy the stunning view of Haba Snow Mountain on the left and Yulong Snow Mountain on the right.

Day 4: 10:30-11:30
Light lunch & supplies at Halfway Guesthouse You may enjoy a local chicken hotpot or fried rice here (at your own expense), refill water and have a rest, and take photos at the guesthouse’s sunset deck.

Day 5: 11:30-13:00
Halfway Guesthouse → Longdong Waterfall → Teacher Zhang's Guesthouse (Approx. 6 km, 2.5 hours) The route is flat first, then gently downhill. Pass Longdong Waterfall. Walk through pine forests and cliffside sections. Arrive at Teacher Zhang's Guesthouse and take a rest here.

Day 6: 13:00-14:30
Teacher Zhang's Trail down to Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge (Round trip approx. 3 km, 1 hours) Pay 10 yuan to take Teacher Zhang's Trail. Descend 1,000 steps to the river valley. Take a close look at the Tiger Leaping Stone, a massive rock in the middle of the Jinsha River.

Day 7: 14:30-15:30
Valley bottom → Teacher Zhang's Guesthouse (Approx. 1 hour) Return the same way or take the sky ladder.

Day 8: 15:30-16:00
Teacher Zhang's Guesthouse → Scenic area exit (Approx. 2 km, 30 minutes) Take the scenic area shuttle bus to the entrance, collect your luggage, and take a 10-minute rest.

Day 9: 16:00-17:00
After the tour, you driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
