Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Harbin

    Upon arrival at Harbin Airport or railway station, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Known as the "Ice City" of China, Harbin combines Russian-inspired architecture, rich history, and vibrant snow culture, offering a unique introduction to Northeast China.

    Day 2: Harbin - Harbin Ice-Snow World

    After breakfast, visit St. Sophia Cathedral, one of Harbin's most iconic landmarks, before strolling along the historic Central Avenue lined with European-style buildings. Continue to the Flood Control Monument and the frozen Songhua River, where various winter activities can be enjoyed. In the evening, visit Harbin Ice-Snow World and admire its spectacular illuminated ice sculptures and snow architecture.

    Day 3: Snow Valley

    Depart Harbin in the morning and travel through the snow-covered countryside to Snow Valley. Upon arrival, check into a traditional local guesthouse and experience the authentic heated brick-bed lifestyle of Northeast China. Spend the afternoon exploring the peaceful village and surrounding snowy forests. Optional winter activities at Wusong Ridge include snowmobiling, skiing, snow tubing, and rime sightseeing.

    Day 4: Snow Town

    Begin an unforgettable trek across Yangcao Mountain, one of the most scenic winter hiking routes in Northeast China. Walk through pristine forests and deep snow while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival in Snow Town, explore Snow Rhyme Street, Dream Homeland, and the famous snow-covered cottages. Climb Bangchui Mountain for spectacular views of the village blanketed in snow.

    Day 5: Departure from Harbin

    Early in the morning, explore Snow Town and enjoy the fairytale snow scenery. Visit the Ice and Snow Gallery and Rime Ice Corridor to admire ice carvings, or take a sightseeing bus to capture charming snow cabins. Don't miss the "water splashing into ice" activity for a fun winter experience. At noon, depart back to Harbin (about a 4.5-hour drive). Airport or railway station drop-off service is provided, marking the end of your ice and snow journey.

    Day 6: Food, Gear & Travel Guide

Enjoy hiking routes, heated brick beds, iron pot stews, ice water splashing, snowmobiling, and horse sled rides. Best travel time is December to February with peak snow and winter scenery.
