Itinerary
- 1
Day 1: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and we will depart together by vehicle for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Located in Zhangjiajie City in northwestern Hunan Province, the former Zhangjiajie Forest Farm was officially renamed "Zhangjiajie National Forest Park" on September 25, 1982, with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The park covers a total area of 4,810 hectares.
- 2
Day 2: Bailong Elevator
Situated in the core zone of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, the Bailong Elevator is renowned as the "Eiffel Tower of the East." It is listed among the world's 11 most creative elevators and is a double-decker sightseeing elevator, often mentioned alongside Germany's AquaDom and the Gateway Arch Elevator in the United States. Visitors standing inside the fully exposed double-decker glass cabin feel as if they are in a fairyland, enjoying a view of 48 independent stone peaks known as the "General Formation."
- 3
Day 3: Yuanjiajie
Located in the northern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yuanjiajie is a mountain tableland. It borders rocky peaks on one side and overlooks deep valleys and clusters of peaks on the other, stretching from east to west. Key attractions include the Rear Garden and the Soul-Terracing Platform. Yuanjiajie also served as a filming location for the movie Avatar. Hollywood photographer Hanson conducted a four-day outdoor shoot in Zhangjiajie, and much of the scenery later became the prototype for various elements of the planet "Pandora" in the blockbuster sci-fi film. Among these, the image of the "South Sky Pillar" became the model for the "Hallelujah Mountains," the floating mountains in the movie.

Day 4: Tianzi Mountain
Visitors can explore attractions such as the Yunqing Rock Viewing Platform, Imperial Brush Peaks, Fairy Presenting Flowers, and the West Sea. The scenery here is entirely natural, with no artificial traces. In addition to the stunning landscapes, the area offers authentic local culture, unique folk customs, and distinctive ethnic cuisine awaiting your visit. It has been praised with sayings such as, "He who has seen the face of Tianzi need not look upon other mountains," and "A trip to Wulingyuan is incomplete without visiting Tianzi Mountain."
- 5
Day 5: Ten-mile Gallery
Located in the East Gully Grand Canyon of Longtan, Nanhe, in Gucheng County, the Ten-mile Gallery stretches 28 Chinese miles (approximately 14 kilometers) from Longtan Village in the north to Wanxing Village in the south. The canyon winds its way forward, varying in width but flat at the base. The deep valley resembles an enticing gallery extending into the distance. The East Gully Grand Canyon features steep mountains, deep gorges, spectacular stone peaks, and serene forests and bamboo groves lining the streams.

Day 2: Glass Bridge
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and we will depart together for the scenic areas. Today we'll visit two highlight attractions: challenge the Glass Bridge Scenic Area in the morning, and explore Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area in the afternoon. This morning we will visit the Glass Bridge — a 536-meter-long structure built entirely of glass. On clear days, the bridge reflects the blue sky and white clouds, creating breathtaking scenery. From here, you can also take in the views of the canyon below and have plenty of time to take photos.
- 7
Day 7: Tianmen Mountain
In the afternoon, we'll proceed to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, renowned as "the world's most beautiful sky garden and celestial paradise." The visit will last approximately 3-4 hours. Steeped in rich history and culture, Tianmen Mountain has long been revered by locals as a sacred mountain, honored as "the First Divine Mountain in Western Hunan" and "the Soul of Wulingyuan." It was also the site of the breathtaking challenge undertaken by the world's top wingsuit flyer, Jeb Corliss.

Day 8: Visiting Tianmen Mountain offers five unique experiences
1. Ride the Tianmen Mountain Cableway — the world's longest alpine passenger cableway — and experience the sensation of flying over Zhangjiajie's rivers and mountains. 2. Challenge the Glass Walkway — the world's highest glass walkway at 1,512 meters above sea level, perched magnificently on the cliff face, testing your limits! 3. Conquer the Guigu Walkway — stretching 1,600 meters at an average altitude of 1,400 meters, entirely built along the edge of towering cliffs. 4. View the 99-bend Skyway — observe the winding mountain road with 99 turns, known as the "World's Ultimate Highway Marvel," with an elevation change of about 1,000 meters. 5. Pass through Tianmen Cave — the gateway flown through by wingsuit pilots, a rare high-altitude mountain-penetrating karst cave and the iconic symbol of Zhangjiajie. 【Friendly reminder】 To manage visitor flow, the scenic area offers three ticket routes for ascending and descending: Route A, B, and C. 【Route A: Tianmen Mountain Cableway up + Express Cableway down】 【 Route B: Express Cableway up + Tianmen Mountain Cablewaydown】 【Route C: Express Cableway both ways】 During peak season, the travel agency cannot guarantee a specific route, as the scenic area assigns routes randomly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and please note that the scenic area holds final authority in interpreting these arrangements.
