Day 2: Chengdu Panda Base
Begin your day with a visit to the world-famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This expansive, bamboo-filled sanctuary is dedicated to the conservation and breeding of China’s beloved national treasure. Day 3: Leshan Giant Buddha & Zhanggongqiao Food Street
In the afternoon, journey to Leshan for two iconic experiences. First, embark on a scenic boat cruise on the Minjiang River, offering the most comprehensive and awe-inspiring view of the 71-meter tall Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site carved into a cliff face. The cruise provides a stunning frontal perspective of this ancient marvel, as well as views of the Giant Sleeping Buddha silhouette formed by the surrounding hills.
