Day 1: Arrival in Kunming
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for rest or leisure.

Day 2: Kunming - Stone Forest
After breakfast, travel to the UNESCO-listed Stone Forest, a unique karst landscape in the subtropical plateau. Admire the exotic rock formations and enjoy performances by local Yi people in traditional costumes. In the afternoon, explore Juxing Bird & Flower Market to experience local daily life.

Day 3: Kunming to Dali
Take a train from Kunming to Dali (about 2 hours). After check-in, wander freely in Dali Ancient Town—browse unique souvenirs, local specialties, or relax with a drink in a charming bar.

Day 4: Dali - Erhai West Coast Cycling
Start your cycling tour along Erhai's west coast from Longkan Wharf, a prime spot for sunrise over the lake. Ride to Caicun Wharf, passing Bai ethnic residences and batik-making locals, then continue to the scenic Panxi S-Bend. The 10km ride takes 1-2 hours, with plenty of time for photos and breaks.

Day 5: Dali to Lijiang
Enjoy a scenic drive to Lijiang, stopping briefly in the ancient town of Shaxi, a former prosperous hub on the Yunnan-Tibet Tea Horse Road. Upon arrival in Lijiang, check into your hotel and immerse yourself in the charm of Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan), a wall-less UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 6: Lijiang - Shuhe Ancient Town & Yuhu Village
Visit Shuhe Ancient Town, a quieter, well-preserved post on the Tea Horse Road with 80% original architecture. Later, explore Yuhu Village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and visit a local Naxi family—enjoy traditional Naxi hospitality, cuisine, and cultural insights.

Day 7: Lijiang to Shangri-La
After breakfast, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge (about 2 hours), one of China's deepest canyons. Hike down to the viewing platform to admire the magnificent scenery and the roaring Jinsha River. Continue to Shangri-La and check into your hotel.

Day 8: Shangri-La Cultural Experience
Explore Dukezong Ancient Town, known as the "city closest to the sky" (3,300m above sea level). Turn the 60-ton giant prayer wheel, dance Guozhuang with Tibetans around the bonfire in Moonlight Square. Experience intangible cultural heritage like Thangka painting and Tibetan incense making, soaking in the authentic Tibetan lifestyle.

Day 9: Departure from Shangri-La
At the scheduled time, your guide and driver will transfer you from the hotel to Shangri-La Airport for your onward journey, concluding this unforgettable Yunnan adventure. We wish you a safe trip home and look forward to welcoming you back to China soon.
