Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guiyang
Arrive in Guiyang and transfer to your hotel to check in and rest. In the afternoon, visit Jiaxiu Pavilion, with an optional stop at the Guizhou Provincial Museum, and enjoy free time in the evening or head to Erqi Road Snack Street to experience local food and nightlife.

Day 2: Kaili
After breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours to Kaili to visit the Kaili Ethnic Museum to learn about Miao and Dong cultures, with a stop at Nanhuamiao Village en route. In the afternoon, join a batik workshop in Danza Kala Village or Paimao Village. Then visit a Short Skirt Miao Village or Female Soldier Miao Village to experience traditional dress, crafts, and local legends.

Day 3: Kaili to Danzhai
In the morning, drive about 1 hour from Kaili to Danzhai or Leishan to visit a traditional Miao silver village, where you can experience hands-on silver craftsmanship and create your own piece. En route, stop at Langde Upper Village to experience authentic Miao culture.In the afternoon, choose between the natural scenery of Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area or Qingyan Ancient Town, where you can explore its rich history and culture and sample the famous braised pork trotters.

Day 4: Danzhai to Congjiang
Visit Shiqiao Village from Danzhai to experience traditional Cai Lun-style papermaking and make your own handmade paper to take home. In the afternoon, head to Basha Miao Village in Congjiang to see China's last armed tribe and its unique traditions, then relax in Congjiang town and enjoy local Dong cuisine.

Day 5: Congjiang to Guiyang
From Congjiang, drive 40 minutes to reach the Tang'an Rice Terraces and hike the classic 4 km stone path from Zhaoxing to Tang'an, taking in centuries-old terraces, misty mountain views, and Dong village scenery—an iconic route recommended by Lonely Planet; a shorter hike with a vehicle return is available.Later, explore Zhaoxing Dong Village, the largest Dong village in China, visiting its five drum towers and wind-and-rain bridges, and experiencing Dong Grand Song, traditional weaving, and local cultural activities.

Day 6: Departure from Guiyang
Enjoy free time in the morning to explore the city or shop for local souvenirs like silver jewelry, batik, tea, and chili products. Afterwards, transfer to Guiyang airport or train station according to your schedule with assistance for departure procedures.Have a pleasant journey home, and we look forward to welcoming you back to China again in the future.
